Inclusión pendiente: entre logros invisibles y hechos inaceptables

Hablemos de lo que no suele ser noticia…
De Martín Plaza, un joven con síndrome de down que alcanzó la cumbre del Cerro El Plomo.
De cinco jóvenes con discapacidad intelectual que unieron nadando en mar abierto Valparaíso y Viña en una posta de 5 kilómetros.
Estos logros existen, pero rara vez ocupan titulares. Y son precisamente los que ayudan a cambiar miradas.
Por eso, lo ocurrido en Talcahuano, no solo indigna: lo repudiamos con fuerza. Lamentablemente, no es un hecho aislado, sino reflejo de una inclusión aún pendiente.
Los medios de comunicación tienen también una responsabilidad: no solo visibilizar la discriminación, sino también destacar capacidades, talentos y aportes.
El deporte, a través de iniciativas como Olimpiadas Especiales Chile y los Juegos Mundiales Santiago 2027, demuestra cada día que la inclusión es posible.
La inclusión es concreta y responsabilidad de todos.
