Con el objetivo de fortalecer la inclusión y el desarrollo del deporte inclusivo, ya toma fuerza el primer Registro Nacional de Deportistas con Discapacidad Intelectual en Chile, una iniciativa que busca reunir y visibilizar a atletas de todo el país.
El proceso de inscripción es completamente en línea. Las personas interesadas deben ingresar al sitio web www.olimpiadasespecialeschile.org, dirigirse a la sección “regístrate” y completar el formulario correspondiente. Para resolver dudas o recibir orientación, también está habilitado el número de contacto +569 2811 7796.
Este registro tiene como propósito principal unificar a la comunidad deportiva inclusiva, generando una base de datos que permita potenciar el desarrollo de los atletas y facilitar su participación en futuras competencias. En ese sentido, uno de los grandes objetivos es preparar y proyectar a los deportistas de cara a los próximos Juegos Mundiales de Olimpiadas Especiales que se realizarán en 2027.
La iniciativa representa un paso clave hacia una mayor integración en el ámbito deportivo, promoviendo oportunidades equitativas y reconociendo el talento de personas con discapacidad intelectual en todo Chile.
