Cada 21 de marzo se conmemora el Síndrome de Down, una fecha para generar mayor conciencia y recordar la dignidad y el aporte de las personas con discapacidad intelectual y además, para resaltar la importancia de su autonomía e independencia individual, en particular la libertad de tomar sus propias decisiones.
