Así terminó el único campeonato de Snowboard inclusivo de Latinoamérica

El viernes 4 de octubre, en el Centro de Ski Corralco, tuvimos la 4a versión del Campeonato de Snowboard Unificado “Vive sin Límites”, organizado por Ride de Vuelta, con quienes hemos trabajado por la inclusión deportiva desde el 2016.
El campeonato se dividió en 4 categorías: Novicios, Intermedio, Avanzados y Open, carrera pre clasificatoria para el nacional del 2020. Allí sabremos quiénes van a representar a Chile en los Juegos Mundiales de Invierno de Olimpiadas Especiales, que se hará en Suecia en 2021.
Fueron 18 atletas con discapacidad intelectual y 12 compañeros unificados (personas sin discapacidad) de diferentes sectores del país que estuvieron entrenando toda la semana y participando en un espacio de convivencia diseñado para promover valores como el compañerismo, la tolerancia y la perseverancia.
