Presidente Gabriel Boric se suma a campaña de Olimpiadas Especiales “Pacto Invisibles”
Santiago, lunes 1 de septiembre .– El Presidente de la República, Gabriel Boric, participó en la campaña “Pacto Invisibles” de Olimpiadas Especiales Chile, iniciativa que busca visibilizar y valorar las historias de esfuerzo y perseverancia de las personas con discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo.
En su mensaje, el mandatario señaló: “En Chile hay ciertas historias que merecen ser contadas y que muchas veces no tienen el espacio que ameritan. Por ello, valoro la iniciativa Pacto Invisibles de Olimpiadas Especiales Chile, que nos invita a conocer las trayectorias de esfuerzo, disciplina y pasión de las y los atletas con discapacidad intelectual que en 2027 van a protagonizar, aquí en nuestro país, los Juegos Mundiales de Olimpiadas Especiales”.
La campaña “Pacto Invisibles” invita a la ciudadanía, instituciones públicas y privadas, y medios de comunicación a comprometerse con la inclusión y la igualdad de oportunidades. “Como dice las Olimpiadas Especiales en Chile ninguna atleta merece quedar fuera de la historia y con ustedes hacemos visible una realidad que además hoy nos llena de orgullo. Estamos juntos. Un fuerte abrazo”, agregó el mandatario en un emotivo video compartido en las plataformas digitales de Presidencia.
Carolina Picasso, presidenta de Olimpiadas Especiales Chile, subrayó la relevancia de este respaldo y del mensaje central de la campaña: “Cada atleta representa esfuerzo, disciplina y superación. Sus historias merecen ser contadas y su talento, celebrado. La visibilidad no es un gesto simbólico, es un acto de justicia. Por ello agradecemos enormemente al Presidente el querer ser parte relevante de esta campaña”.
Desde Olimpiadas Especiales Chile valoraron el respaldo presidencial, destacando que su apoyo entrega un fuerte impulso a la misión de promover una sociedad más justa y solidaria, en la antesala de los Juegos Mundiales de Olimpiadas Especiales Santiago 2027, el evento deportivo y social más importante del mundo para atletas con discapacidad intelectual.
