Comenzó la Liga de Futsal Unificada Femenina Nike

El torneo femenino, que se realiza en el Parque Estadio Nacional, está enfocado en potenciar el deporte inclusivo en las mujeres.
El pasado 25 de abril se dio inicio a la Liga de Futsal Unificada Femenina Nike, que es organizada por Olimpiadas Especiales Chile y el Programa Local, Club Deportivo y Social Fútbol Adaptado. El torneo cuenta con la participación de cuatro equipos; sin embargo, la convocatoria aún está abierta.
Los equipos participantes fueron: Santísima Trinidad, Guenipillán. Puente Alto A y Puente Alto B. “Estamos trabajando arduamente para sumar a más mujeres a realizar deporte y en una disciplina tan linda como es el fútbol. Invitamos a las atletas con discapacidad intelectual y del desarrollo a unirse y formar parte de este torneo que es preparatorio en el camino rumbo a los Juegos Mundiales de Santiago 2027”, señaló el profesor y coordinador de la Liga, Daniel Cisternas.
Durante el evento Olimpiadas Especiales Chile otorgó material deportivo auspiciado por la reconocida marca deportiva Nike.
¿Qué es el Deporte Unificado?
El deporte unificado es una iniciativa clave del movimiento de Olimpiadas Especiales, cuyo objetivo es promover la inclusión social a través del deporte. En este modelo, personas con y sin discapacidad intelectual entrenan y compiten juntas en el mismo equipo.
Características del deporte unificado:
Equipos mixtos: Integrados por atletas con discapacidad intelectual ("atletas") y sin discapacidad ("compañeros unificados").
Igualdad de condiciones: Se busca que los compañeros tengan habilidades deportivas similares para asegurar una competencia equilibrada.
Fomento del respeto y la inclusión: A través del trabajo en equipo, se eliminan prejuicios y se crean vínculos genuinos.
Variedad de disciplinas: Se practica en múltiples deportes como fútbol, baloncesto, voleibol, atletismo, entre otros.
